Program & Operations Coordinator Jenks Chamber of Commerce Reports To: Member Relations Manager Classification: Part-Time (Up to 25 Hours Weekly) Potential for Full-Time Advancement FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt Position Summary The Program Coordinator supports the Chamber’s mission by assisting with membership engagement, member programming, event coordination, and general office administrative operations. This position serves as a key support role in maintaining positive member relationships, coordinating Chamber activities, and ensuring efficient daily office functions. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, detail-oriented, self-driven, and works well in a team environment. ________________________________________ Essential Duties & Responsibilities Membership Support • Assist with member communications and engagement efforts • Support membership recruitment and retention initiatives • Maintain accurate membership data and billing records • Assist with membership renewals, invoicing, and timely follow-up communications • Assist with onboarding new Chamber members Program & Event Coordination • Assist in planning and coordinating Chamber programs and events • Support event registration, attendance tracking, and event logistics • Coordinate vendor, sponsor, and volunteer communications as needed • Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown • Help ensure a positive experience for members and event attendees Administrative Support • Provide general office and clerical support • Answer phones, emails, and visitor inquiries as needed • Assist with scheduling, document and report preparation, filing, and data entry • Maintain office organization and assist with operational needs Qualifications & Desired Attributes • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. • Previous experience in customer service, office administration, event coordination, nonprofit organizations, or membership-based organizations preferred. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong business acumen, interpersonal skills, and relationship-building abilities. • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer software • Ability to work occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends for Chamber events. • Positive and professional attitude. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines, requirements, chamber goals, initiatives, and objectives. • Team-oriented mindset with strong customer service focus. ________________________________________ Compensation This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position scheduled for up to 25 hours per week, unless additional hours are approved by the Vice President or President/CEO. The position has the potential to transition into increased weekly hours or a full-time role based on program growth, organizational needs, and performance. Quarterly performance bonuses may be available based on achievement of organizational goals and satisfactory performance evaluations. Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications. ________________________________________ Work Environment This position operates in a professional office environment with regular interaction in community and event settings.
