Service Technician

3+ years HVAC service experience desired, driver’s license required, NATE and EPA certifications a plus! Position may require work outdoors, sitting or standing for long periods of time. Must have the ability to lift 100lbs, climb ladders, and crawl into tight spaces. These are just some of the physical requirements expected in this position. Must have a thorough knowledge of HVAC repair and maintenance including some plumbing and electrical, know how to read gauges, knowledge of HVAC parts and equipment, knowledge of HVAC systems, strong communication skills, strong customer service skills, ability to work under pressure, ability to work under in a variety of conditions, and have a presentable appearance. Your responsibilities can include: · Repair HVAC Equipment o Troubleshoot/diagnose problems o Order repair parts through Service Coordinator and Purchasing Department o Complete service tickets properly o Price service tickets using Flat Rate pricing system o Collect COD payments o Fill out paperwork on warranties as required · Communicate with Service Coordinator as Necessary o Prioritize scheduling with coordinator o Take direction from coordinator · Maintain Truck Inventory · Serve as a liaison between Mountain Air Mechanical and the customer
