I'm Lauren Yoder, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and owner of Balanced Rock Wellness, LLC. Though my background started in education, I soon found myself transitioning to school counseling and eventually found my best fit in clinical practice.

While I continue to enjoy working with children and families, my clinical specialties currently lean more toward adult issues, specifically relationship distress (including but not limited to infidelity, divorce, and co-parenting), self-evaluation issues, mood, and anxiety disorders, religious trauma, childhood trauma, parenting concerns, and general life phase difficulties.

I work with clients 8+ and do online and in person counseling. I am paneled with Blue Cross, Aetna, Select Health, and Pacific Source insurances and also accept private pay. My areas of interest are relationship issues, sex and sexuality, kink/BDSM, poly/enm, anxiety, mood disorders, life stage transitions, parenting, etc. I do work with kids and teens on issues related to anxiety, depression, relationship issues (romantic, friendship, and/or familial relationships), trauma, etc. I am open and affirming of the LGBTQIAS+ community and welcome people of all races, ethnicities, sexes, genders expressions, and orientations into my space.
