Young Elevator Inc. is family-owned and operated since 1995 with an additional 52 years of combined industry experience in service, repair, modernization, state testing, and manufacturing of cab interiors.

TRADITION AND EXPERIENCE

The mechanical experience began in 1972 with Richard Young at Westinghouse Elevator. In 1995 Richard and his wife Ruth saw a need for custom elevator interiors and began manufacturing top-quality, hand-crafted cabs. Examples of our work can be found in major cities across the U.S. including, San Francisco, Sacramento, Denver, Portland, and Seattle.

GROWTH

Son-in-law, John, joined Richard in 2008 to further expand the manufacturing of custom interiors. John joined the International Union of Elevator Constructors in 2013 to further his knowledge of elevators to include all mechanical aspects of the industry. Upon Richards's retirement, his daughter Kristie had a passion to expand the family business and combine her husband Johns expertise in both the interior manufacturing and mechanical servicing of elevators to create a one-stop shop for all your elevator needs. As a family-owned and operated business, Young Elevator Inc. looks forward to providing you friendly and personalized service.

We are proud to be based in the Treasure Valley and currently provide service throughout Idaho and Salt Lake City, UT.
