Lola Le Egg Rolls was born in 2014 when my father was diagnosed with stage four cancer. My husband and I agreed to move home to take care of my parents. When things got tight, and I had too much pride to ask for financial help from my siblings, I decided to give egg rolls away to my family and friends in exchange for donations to take care of my parents. When my father passed away in 2017, I used the same concept to support my husband in chasing his dreams to get into medical school one day. Fast forward 5 years later, we get one acceptance at ICOM in Meridian out of the 13 medical schools we applied for.
During those years of supporting my family, When I moved to Boise, I was in for a real cultural shock when I could not find the same quality of food as we could find every day where I was from, Kansas. That's when I knew that I had a huge market for my kind of egg rolls in Boise, Idaho.
