My passion for money management started when I graduated from college and found myself in student loan debt and wanted to make the most of my money. I went back to school to earn my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and once again upon graduation, I had more student loans and needed to navigate "adult life"- realizing I was never taught how to "adult" with finances. I decided to teach myself about finances and developed a hobby of learning about money. I routinely found myself in conversations with friends and family about money and they would ask for my input on decisions.
Through conversations with others, I realized that financial education was lacking in all areas of life from high school to adult. I found a need and decided to start coaching others on their way to financial wellness. I studied at the National Financial Education Council and became a Certified Financial Education Instructor. Which equipped me with the skills to educate and facilitate changes in finances.
