Kim has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Organizational Communications from BYU. He received a Master of Science in Counseling from Seattle Pacific University in 1994. He has had a lifetime commitment to both church and community service. In addition, Kim is a nationally recognized public speaker, and best selling author His writing focuses on dealing with lifes challenges, the importance of personal growth, family relationships, and the value of the individual contribution. Kims books include The Stillwater Buckskin published by Sheridan Press, Happily Forever After published by Deseret Book, If God Loves Me Why This published by Deseret Book (a #1 Best Seller) and Getting Past If Only Published by Covenant Press. His public speaking includes several years of presentations in the Timeout for Women series. Kim has presented at BYU education week. He has spoken at numerous business related conventions and corporate events.
From 2002 to the present Kim has been the president of Stillwater Connection, a counseling and consulting organization. His counseling experience includes both family and Individual counseling, related writing, and speaking. He writes I am devoted to the belief that our intended state of being is healthy and happy. In counseling, our goal will be to foster an environment of trust and respect. In that environment, skills, understanding, and insights can be developed. The process of counseling is to provide the foundation for you to make the choices and changes that lead to being healthy and happy.
