My name is Stephanie Cobbley, and I have been involved in
the fire alarm, life safety, and fire suppression industry since 1998 when I
began designing commercial fire alarm systems. I have been a member of the
Idaho Fire Protection Form (IFPF) since 2000 and have been vice president since
2017. I have obtained/maintained NICET III certification in Fire Alarm System
Design and NICET I certification in Sprinkler Layout/Water-Based designs. I
earned an Associate Degree in Computer Aided Drafting/Design and a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. Although I started subcontracting
design work in 2006, it wasnt until 2013 that I created my business name and
LLC. I worked as an AHJ for a local municipality reviewing fire alarm plans and
submittals for 5 years before accepting an Electrical Controls Engineer
position with a national engineering and consulting company in 2013. In 2018, a
client I had subcontracted for in the past gave me an opportunity to create
their design department as a full-time employee. Due to recent events, they
were unable to continue with their plans for the design department. When they
suggested sub-contracting me again, I happily agreed, and am now turning my
side business into my full-time business. I've worked hard to blend my
desire to meet all code, standards, and municipal requirements in order to keep
people safe with my compassion for my clients' financial and scheduling needs
in order to give them peace of mind. Lets work together to design your system
in the most compliant, efficient, and economical way possible! I look forward
to an opportunity to work with you.
