Common Good Plumas / Common Good Community Foundation

The Common Good Community Foundation is a community-based organization that facilitates the funding and development of programs and projects of an enduring nature that serve and enrich communities within Plumas County, CA. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, all donations are tax-deductible.

Our mission is to encourage and develop local philanthropy and serve as a conduit through which charitable funds can be distributed to meet the needs of the Plumas County community. In doing so, we want to build a legacy of support to ensure that worthwhile and valuable programs and projects continue to enrich our community for generations to come.

We are both a grantmaker and a vehicle for donor to accomplish their philanthropic goals. We seek to link people who care about community projects and programs that matter. We partner with donors to ensure their gifts are distributed as specified and have maximum impact within the community. We in turn work closely with grantees to ensure that all funds are expended according to grant guidelines for the benefit of the community. We handle the administrative and accounting details so donors can focus on the rewarding aspects of giving.
