QI Program

Delaware First Health is dedicated to a robust Quality Improvement (QI) Program designed to enhance the health of its members by integrating a comprehensive scope that includes medical, behavioral, dental, and vision care. The program focuses on improving the quality and safety of clinical care and service delivery across all demographic groups and care settings. Key components include preventive, emergency, primary, specialty, acute, short-term, and long-term care, tailored to the needs of diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, abilities, and identities. The QI Program also emphasizes cultural competency, requiring annual updates to ensure services are culturally and linguistically appropriate, supporting members with limited English proficiency and diverse cultural needs.
