Travel Program

Sandia Prep's Travel Program offers transformative educational tours, allowing students to immerse themselves in global cultures alongside experienced educators. These tours not only include visits to historical sites and cultural experiences, but also incorporate humanitarian efforts such as providing aid and supplies to schools and disaster-stricken areas. Led by History Department Chairman Tom Gentry-Funk for nearly two decades, these trips have profoundly impacted participants by deepening their understanding of diverse cultures and histories, fostering independence, and enhancing their global awareness.
