InternGF, an initiative by Grand Forks EDC in Grand Forks, ND, facilitates the connection between interns and businesses, enhancing local workforce development. The program supports employers by offering up to $3,500 to subsidize intern wages for innovative positions, aiming to boost the number of internships available. Eligible entities include early-to-mid-stage startups and EDC member organizations that can provide unique internship opportunities not commonly found in the region. Employers may apply for funding for up to two internships annually, with startups receiving a 50% match and EDC members a 33% match.
