Overnight Study Trips

At Ronald C. Wornick Jewish Day School, we believe in the power of experiential learning to cultivate skills beyond the classroom. From Fourth to Eighth grades, students embark on immersive overnight study trips tailored to their grade levels, enriching their educational journey while meeting learning standards. Fourth graders journey back to the California Gold Rush era at Camp Tawonga, while Fifth graders delve into outdoor science education during a five-day excursion to Marin Headlands. Sixth graders explore the wonders of Olympic National Park in Washington, while Seventh graders delve into social justice and civil rights issues in the American South. Finally, Eighth graders embark on a transformative two-week trip to Israel, deepening their connection to Jewish heritage and culture. These unforgettable experiences not only reinforce academic concepts but also foster personal growth and lifelong memories. Discover more about our enriching field trips here.
