FEMA Alternate Projects

The Port of Tillamook Bay proudly offers FEMA Alternate Projects, a comprehensive initiative aimed at enhancing and revitalizing our facilities and services since 2009. With funding support from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance Program, our alternate projects address critical infrastructure needs stemming from the loss of our railroad system in December 2007. These projects encompass a wide range of upgrades and new constructions, including warehouse facilities, officer's mess hall enhancements, main office building rehabilitation, airport fixed-base operator (FBO) establishment, digester improvements, water system enhancements, road rehabilitation, truck scale upgrades, septage receiving facility enhancements, new port shops, equipment acquisitions, and various other developments such as the Hoop House Project initiated in Spring 2017 and the Southern Flow Corridor Landowner Preferred Alternative Project. Through these endeavors, the Port of Tillamook Bay reaffirms its commitment to serving industrial park users and the Tillamook community with upgraded infrastructure and modern amenities.
