Targeting Latino youth in the Flowing Wells community, Leaders in Action is dedicated to youth leadership, prevention education, and cultural enrichment. Through topics ranging from substance abuse awareness to youth leadership development, the project engages participants in meaningful dialogue and skill-building activities. As a sub-community of the Mayahuel UAD Prevention Project, Leaders in Action fosters empowerment and cultural awareness among its 55 students, supported by funding from the Pima County Community Development Block Grant.
