Welcome to ACCESS Paratransit, a well-established and coordinated shared-ride paratransit service that has been serving Allegheny County since 1979. Our commitment to providing reliable door-to-door transportation is evident through a network of six service providers operating from seven locations, boasting a fleet of 300 vehicles. As one of the largest coordinated systems in the country, ACCESS facilitates an average of 5,000 trips on weekdays and approximately 1.5 million annually. While open to the general public, ACCESS primarily caters to individuals with disabilities, clients of human service agencies, and those aged 65 and over. With a focus on accessibility and inclusivity, ACCESS Paratransit continues to play a crucial role in enhancing mobility and independence for all members of our community.
