MarinHealth's Critical Care, housed in the new Oak Pavilion, encompasses a state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and a step-down unit. The 19-room ICU, equipped with advanced technology, provides specialized care for patients recovering from surgeries or experiencing multi-organ system failure. Featuring electronic in-room signage and communication technology, the ICU ensures real-time patient information and enhanced safety. Led by intensivists, the multidisciplinary team includes registered nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, dietitians, social workers, chaplains, and support staff, offering comprehensive care. Critical Care Specialists collaborate with various specialists, providing counseling on prognosis and treatment options. Stringent visitor guidelines are implemented to ensure the well-being of patients in this critical care setting.
