Volunteers are the lifeblood of Hospice of South Georgia in Valdosta, GA. Following thorough training, these compassionate individuals provide essential non-medical services to patients and families. Their roles include respite care, companionship, errand running, tele-caring through phone check-ins, and offering support at the Langdale Hospice House. Additional opportunities encompass grief support, office assistance, special needs aid, public relations, fundraising, Veteran-to-Veteran companionship, and participation in the Hospice Advisory Board. Volunteers are the heart of our organization, making our mission possible.
