Early Intervention

Alta Mira Specialized Family Services Inc.’s Early Intervention (EI) services provide families whose child is experiencing a delay in their development or has been diagnosed with a disability or who may be experiencing conditions that could cause a significant delay in their development. Intending to ensure a child reaches their full potential, families receive support and assistance, including the first step of the process: evaluation.

All children grow and develop at their own pace. Sometimes, children have a special developmental need or health concern that may put them at risk for or cause a developmental delay. Early Intervention is anticipating, identifying, and responding to concerns about a baby or toddler’s development to minimize potential adverse effects and maximize healthy development.
