Dekko Foundation

The mission of the Dekko Foundation is to foster economic freedom through education. We’re a private family foundation started in 1981 by the late philanthropist and businessman Mr. Chester E. Dekko. Our grantmaking is focused in 13 counties in four states — including Noble, DeKalb, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Steuben, and Whitley counties in Northeast Indiana — where Mr. Dekko had business or personal interests.

FOR MORE INFORMATION:

We invest in projects and organizations that support children and young people from birth through age 18 in building knowledge, skills, and character that contribute to their self-sufficiency and put them on the path to economic freedom.
