NIPSCO handles the electricity for LaGrange County, with the exception of unincorporated areas: this includes the towns of LaGrange, Topeka, Shipshewana, and Wolcottville, as well as a portion of the LaGrange County Regional Utility District.
REMC handles the electricity for unincorporated areas of LaGrange County and a portion of the LaGrange County Regional Utility District (lake areas).
