Celebration of Life Ceremony

A Celebration of Life ceremony or Memorial Service is an alternative to the traditional funeral service.  It provides a time and place to remember and talk about a loved one’s life.  These ceremonies are usually scheduled days to weeks after the death for the convenience or needs of the family and can be conducted at our funeral chapel, church, or another venue.  Celebration of Life Ceremonies usually is conducted without a casket present.  Families will usually display an urn, photos of their loved one, flowers, and/or personal mementos.  They may include many of the elements of a traditional funeral such as service folders, DVD video tributes, readings, prayers, music, eulogies, balloon/dove releases, etc. to honor the life of their loved one.
