Dogs don’t have to be big, ferocious animals for their bites to be seriously harmful. California dog owners can be deemed responsible for resulting dog bites, whether they occur on private or public property, as long as the victim is legally present. Dog bites are especially vulnerable to serious infections and should never be taken lightly.
