Individual Youth Mentoring

Individuals can become positive role models for children aged 7-18 who need and want a consistent adult presence in their lives. Mentoring focuses on developmental support, where goals and expectations are based on the mentee's needs, rather than being prescriptive. Mentors engage in activities such as visiting the library, walking in the park, attending events, shopping, job shadowing, or helping with school work. Be A Mentor provides project managers, a Goal-Setting Tool with training, and support groups for mentors.
