The Graduate Certificate in Theological Studies program at La Mesa Academy is a two-year, 36-hour coursework program spanning four key areas: Christian Faith (Bible, Theology, History), Ministerial Capacity, Engaging Culture and Context, and Academic Theological Inquiry. It offers required multilingual courses in Spanish, English, and Korean, providing an alternative path for students preparing for licensing or ordination or those in ministry roles seeking a theological foundation. The program includes two semesters per year with 8 weeks of online courses and an annual 5-day in-person residency, designed to equip students for a graduate degree program.
