Designed for seasoned hunters who prefer a solo experience with support, these drop camps are fully set up and packed in by the West Elk Wilderness Outfitters team. Located 3–7 miles into remote areas, the camps are equipped with canvas wall tents, wood stoves, basic camp furniture, and cooking gear. The service includes regular camp checks and game pack-out by the team, with no horses left in camp for hunter-only use. A minimum of 2 hunters is required per drop camp, and these hunts are best suited for physically fit hunters with backcountry experience. Species targeted are Elk or Mule Deer.
