The Crested Butte Arts Festival advances its mission of fostering and nurturing the arts in the Gunnison Valley by awarding approximately $10,000–$15,000 annually to local artists and organizations. Applications are reviewed by the Crested Butte Society Board of Directors, who evaluate projects based on their potential impact, concept, and execution strategy. Priority is given to initiatives that offer significant community enrichment and demonstrate the potential for lasting influence. Successful grant recipients are notified by email by the end of February each year.
