Kissidugu Foundation-Youth Cultural Arts Camp

The Kissidugu Foundation Youth Cultural Arts Camp offers an immersive, educational experience for students ages 7–12 through collaboration with visiting African artists. Participants explore the rich tradition of African storytelling, culminating in a live theater performance featuring a collectively written fable created by the students and their teachers. The program integrates music, dance, and song, engaging students in learning stick drumming, a variety of African dance styles, and the creation of costumes, props, and visual artworks across multiple artistic mediums.
