An anorectal manometry study checks how well the muscles and nerves in your child’s rectum and anus are working. During the test, a small, flexible tube is gently placed to measure pressure and muscle function. The results help identify the cause of constipation, incontinence, or other bowel concerns and guide the best treatment plan.
