The Crested Butte Nordic Center is the heart of Colorado’s Nordic skiing scene, offering 55 kilometers of beautifully groomed trails for both classic and skate skiing. These scenic routes wind through open valleys, peaceful aspen groves, and pine forests, making them perfect for all skill levels. Rentals and trail passes are available at the Nordic Center in downtown Crested Butte, with kids 16 and under and seniors 70 and over skiing for free. Each February, the center also hosts the iconic Alley Loop race, where skiers of all ages glide through the streets and historic alleyways, creating a fun, festival-like celebration in the heart of town.
