This two day workshop, available in person or virtually, equips organizations with trauma informed, person centered approaches to support families affected by substance use disorder. Participants, including peer support specialists, healthcare providers, and child welfare staff, learn to engage and empower parents in recovery while covering topics like Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal Syndrome, trauma informed care, early attachment, recovery planning, and ethical peer support. The training provides practical tools to reduce stigma, navigate systemic barriers, and foster collaboration across sectors, helping improve outcomes for both parents and their children.
