Development Services oversees the safe and orderly development of buildings and infrastructure by enforcing the City’s building codes, ordinances, and regulatory standards. The department includes Planning, Building and Permitting, Code Compliance and Animal Control, and Engineering, and works closely with the Planning and Zoning Commission, Architectural Review Panel, Zoning Board of Adjustment, and Construction Board of Appeals to support responsible growth and development.
