The Community Cats program focuses on improving the lives of feral and stray cats across Mohave County while reducing unnecessary euthanasia of healthy cats. These cats may be wild, tame, born outdoors, strays, or abandoned, and each receives care tailored to their needs. Cats that can adjust to home life are placed in adoption or adoption preparation programs, while those better suited to living outdoors are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, tagged, and safely returned to their original community, ensuring they are healthy and cared for.
