Located just steps from intimidating courtrooms, each Reading Room provides a safe place for children to relax, stocked with brand-new books they are encouraged to take home—often the first they have ever owned. To offer additional emotional reassurance during a difficult time, every child also receives a soft ranch- or farm-themed stuffed animal, helping create a sense of comfort, security, and care.
