The New Melle Fire Protection District upholds community safety by overseeing inspections and permits for all new commercial construction projects. Each project is carefully reviewed to ensure full compliance with the 2015 International Building Code, adopted under Ordinance No. 2018-04. In addition, annual commercial inspections are conducted to maintain the highest standards of safety for residents and visitors across the district.
