Marriage Licenses

Getting married in St. Charles County is a simple and joyful process. Couples can apply for a marriage license up to 30 days before their ceremony. Once approved, the license can be mailed or picked up at the County Administration Building with a valid photo ID. On the big day, the officiant and two witnesses will sign the license, which is then returned to the Recorder of Deeds office for official recording. Afterward, the happy couple receives both a certified copy and a keepsake version of their marriage license to commemorate their special day.
