Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPP)

Fire Adapted Bailey is leading the creation of a new Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) for North Park County, ensuring residents have a proactive role in reducing wildfire risk. This plan incorporates community input, collaboration with local fire districts and the U.S. Forest Service, and state-of-the-art wildfire modeling to create a living, actionable document that prioritizes safety, mitigation, and ecosystem health. By engaging together, residents can protect homes, businesses, watersheds, and shared forest resources while enhancing evacuation planning, funding opportunities, and long-term wildfire resilience.
