Volunteers

The Volunteers Program at Cultivate Food Rescue in South Bend, IN, is the driving force behind the organization’s mission to fight hunger and reduce food waste. In 2024 alone, over 8,000 volunteers helped prepare and package more than 519,000 meals through a variety of roles, including meal packing, cooking, driving rescue trucks, assisting at events, and dishwashing. Their dedication has resulted in millions of meals and backpacks distributed to those in need, showcasing the power of community service and compassion in action.
