The Southeast Colorado Enterprise Development team, the Southern Colorado Economic Development District, and High Prairie Homes delivered 127 dwellings, including single-family homes and duplexes, in 2022-2023.

This project was a concerted effort and a regional partnership between local, county, state, and federal governments. Attainable housing that is long-term, safe, and energy efficient provides opportunities for both home ownership and rentals to the local workforce. The nine communities include Olney Springs, Eads, Wiley, Lamar, Granada, Springfield, Walsh, Las Animas & La Junta.

Bywater completed a 28-unit rental community in Ordway, Colorado, in the third quarter of 2024. This project was also a partnership with the state of Colorado and the Southeast Colorado Economic Development Agency, and is valued at $6.8M.
