When major storms cause outages, electric cooperatives work quickly and carefully to restore power. Repairs are prioritized to address safety hazards first, then main lines that bring electricity to the largest number of members, followed by smaller lines and individual homes. This way, we can get power back to as many people as possible, as safely and efficiently as we can.
