CalSavers

CalSavers offers employees access to a retirement savings program without imposing the administrative burden, fees, or fiduciary responsibilities typically associated with employer-sponsored plans. Under state requirements, any employer with five or more employees that does not already provide a workplace retirement savings plan must either establish one through the private market or grant employees access to CalSavers. Funded entirely through administrative fees, the program operates at no cost to taxpayers while expanding retirement savings opportunities for workers.
