Children’s Advocacy Center

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Hernando County provides a safe and supportive place where children and their families can begin the healing process after abuse or trauma. Each year, the center serves more than 800 children and their non-offending family members by coordinating investigations, supporting prosecutions, and connecting them with vital services. The CAC helps those who have experienced sexual or physical abuse, human trafficking, neglect, exposure to violence, substance abuse, or pornography, ensuring they receive the care and protection they deserve.
