Transitional Foster Care

The National Youth Advocate Program’s Transitional Foster Care provides unaccompanied children and youth with safe, short-term homes as they adjust to life in the United States. With bilingual and culturally aware foster parents, children receive stability, individualized support, education, medical care, counseling, and legal assistance. Case workers work diligently to reunite children with family or trusted sponsors, and when reunification is not possible, youth may transition into long-term foster care to continue building a secure and hopeful future.
