Drought Contingency Planning

Drought Contingency Planning helps the district and community prepare for and reduce the risks of water shortages while building long-term resilience. Supported by a U.S. Bureau of Reclamation WaterSMART grant and local partners, the plan brings together municipalities, agriculture, recreation, industry, and conservation groups to create practical strategies for sustainable water management. With opportunities for public input, this collaborative effort ensures that the basin is ready to face future drought challenges with strength and adaptability.
