The Youth Leadership Council (YLC) empowers middle and high school students to take an active role in shaping their communities through advocacy, awareness, and action-driven projects each semester. Guided by BBSVC staff but led by youth, participants develop leadership skills, collaborate with peers, and bring meaningful change to local communities. With active cohorts in Camarillo, Fillmore, Oxnard, Santa Paula, Simi Valley, and Ventura, YLC offers a powerful platform for young voices to lead with purpose and impact.
