The Zach’s Place Purpose

Zach’s Place at the Laurie Hillyard Family Center is a welcoming and inclusive space where both special needs and typical children can learn, grow, and have fun together. As the only licensed childcare facility in the Pikes Peak Region specializing in care for youth with disabilities ages 2.5 to 18, we provide parents with the support and respite they need while offering children engaging activities in a safe and nurturing environment. Our approach fosters strong, healthy families and ensures that every child benefits from shared experiences that promote learning, understanding, and friendship.
