Since 2017, The Welcome Network has partnered with Dar El-Alwad (Kids Alive Lebanon) to send annual summer teams that serve alongside groups welcoming migrant newcomers in Lebanon. These trips inspire our volunteers to extend the same warmth and support to newcomers here in Chicagoland. We also dedicate 5% of our undesignated funds to help Dar El-Alwad care for Syrian refugees, and we welcome anyone interested in joining or receiving updates about our summer trips to reach out to us.
