The Teller County Treasurer's Office is responsible for the collection and distribution of property taxes. Property owners should be aware that if a Treasurer’s Deed option for their property is sold at public auction for more than the total amount owed to the lawful tax lien holder and other lien holders, they may be entitled to excess funds and are encouraged to contact the Treasurer’s Office following the auction. Additionally, 2024 property tax bills have been mailed to all property owners. Taxes may be paid conveniently online through the payment portal.
