Clerk & Recorder


The Office of the Clerk and Recorder, established under Section 8, Article XIV of the Colorado Constitution, serves multiple essential functions within Teller County. The Clerk and Recorder acts as the Chief Election Official, ensuring the integrity and administration of all county elections. As an agent of the State of Colorado, the office is responsible for motor vehicle titling and licensing, as well as issuing marriage licenses. Additionally, the Clerk serves as the official recorder for all property and legal documents and functions as the Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners, supporting and maintaining records of official meetings and proceedings.
