The Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) serves as the primary administrative and policy-making authority for Teller County, as designated by the Colorado General Assembly. Comprised of three members elected at large from distinct geographic districts, the Board is responsible for representing the interests of county residents at the local, state, and national levels. Commissioners serve staggered four-year terms and are limited to two consecutive terms. The BOCC plays a critical role in shaping public policy and overseeing county governance.
